Fort Hancock ISD is a Continuing Education Provider. What this means is
that if as a teacher,
you don't have a lifetime teacher certificate, the training received at Fort
Hancock can count
towards the 50 hours of training in 5 years that must be met to recertify.
The State Board of Educators is including in their ExCet examinations teacher
technology
proficiencies. The state of Texas has established student technology
proficiencies for students
at all grade levels. What teachers are expected to know are equal to the
student proficiencies
of an 8th grader.
