Vision Statement

Welcome

As the Reading Specialist for the Fort Hancock School District I believe that all students can and want to learn. As educators we will provide developmentally appropriate instruction within our classrooms to enhance these experiences in order to have all our students become strong literate members in our community.

I believe that all students should be exposed to print rich environments. Along with good practices by modeling proficient reading, writing, listening and speaking. I further believe that in order for our district to be successful in the fight for literacy parents and teachers must come together in providing the best educational experiences for all our students to become life long learners.
