PHILOSOPHY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The Physical Education department believes that a program that promotes physical, emotional and social well being will promote good habits in the lives of different individuals. Each student is given the opportunity to achieve success regardless of size, maturity, coordination, body type or any other physical attributes.  The department is concerned with helping our students understand the importance of physical education.

A Little Bit About Me

Coach Saldaña,

This is my second year working in the Texas school system; I was working as the Athletic Trainer for Fabens I.S.D last year.  This is my first year as a Physical Education teacher at Fort Hancock Independent School District.  I was born in El Paso and raised in Tornillo Texas.  I graduated from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas in 2005.  I’m very happy and proud to be part of the Mustang family.  I currently coach football at the varsity and Jr. high level.  I will also be coaching basketball and track.
