A “Hello”
from
Ft. Hancock High
School!
I would like to welcome you to an entertaining learning
experience. Imagine your self learning
and having fun at the same time. If
this is what you expect then I invite you to come into my classroom. While in my class, you will be engaged
in high order thinking, Q & A sessions and group interaction.
A little bit about myself. I was born in El Paso, TX, but was
raised in Cd. Juarez, Chih. MX. I
moved to El Paso at the beginning of 7th Grade and graduated
from Socorro H.S. in 1995. I
attended the University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso Community College, and
the University of Phoenix where I obtained a degree in Business
Accounting. I have been teaching
mathematics at Fort Hancock since 2003.
I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Mathematics
and the National Association of Student Council. I was honored as Ft. Hancock’s secondary Teacher Of the Year
for the 2005-2006 school year. I am
currently a graduate student at the University of Texas at El Paso working
on a Masters in Guidance and Counseling.
I look forward to having you in my class either as a parent or
a student.
