Educational Background and Interests
Welcome to Mrs. Banuelos classroom
page. I am very excited to start my
new career as a teacher in FHISD.
My interest in working for the Fort Hancock Independent School
District comes from the desire of working with kids and families in a
community that provides educators with challenges. I consider myself to have true
dedication and a good attitude towards my job. My goal is to instill a sense of inspiration and the yearning
for knowledge in every child. I am
looking forward to working with all students, parents, school staff and the
community to make this school year the best. I previously worked for Child Protective Services for 14
years as a foster care/adoption specialist, investigator, and I also served
as a Board Member to Texas Foster Family Association. I am a very proud mother of an eighteen-year-old
son that just graduated from high school and will be starting college in the
Fall. I have a B.S. in Psychology
and M.A. in Counseling.

orgullosa de comenzar mi trabajo con el Distrito de Fort Hancock. Mi interes en trabajar por este Distrito
viene de el deseo de trabajar con ninos y familias en una comunidad que
ofrece a los educadores retos y
oportunidades para mejorar. Yo
tengo la dedicacion y una buena actitud hacia mi trabajo que yo se me va
ayudar para desempenar mi trabajo como maestra. Mi meta es darles a los estudiantes la oportunidad y la
inspiracion de aprender. Gracias
por darme la oportunidad de trabajar en esta comunidad.
