The Fort Hancock ISD is
committed to providing children a safe, learning rich environment, with a
sound, well-rounded curriculum that will meet the needs of ALL children.
Learning is a lifelong process. In this fast-changing world, there are always
new skills to be acquired, new subjects to be mastered, new
insight to be gained. It is our goal to provide our children with the skill,
knowledge base, confidence, leadership, and a desire to set and obtain their
goals. We will provide our students with the experiences to succeed educationally,
socially, emotionally and physically, so that they may tackle any obstacles
that might hinder their success. The District will personalize the learning
experience for each of our children, in order to make the learning experience
more pleasant and lasting. In doing so, the district realizes the importance
of professional development for faculty, staff, and administrators. We will
provide our personnel with the tools and resources needed to impact student
achievement. Faculty and staff are encouraged to share ideas, express
creativity, and use their own uniqueness in helping students to excel. Let me
