Welcome to Mrs. Samaniego’s Dual Language 2nd grade
class. This is my 7th
year at Benito Martinez Elementary and I have enjoyed the wonderful lives
I’ve been able to be a part of. This
is my second year teaching dual language and am excited about the leaps
& bounds our students are making!
This summer I received my principal certification and so I am also
taking on more administrative duties this school year. My masters degree as an Instructional
Specialist and my 18 hours towards a 2nd masters in Bilingual
Education with a concentration in Dual Language has allowed me be a more
effective teacher & administrator.
It is my hope to be a
positive influence on your child & to inspire them to not only be proud
of being bilingual and biliterate; but also to be a life-long learner. My experience and education have opened
many doors for me; I am truly blessed!
I believe whole-heartedly in giving the best I have to offer. My philosophy and strategies I use in my
classroom are based on sound research.
I believe in our Dual Language program and I know that you too will
learn to trust it too as you see the fruit in your children’s
learning.
